Refund and Returns Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase. As a small specialty coffee roaster, we handle returns in accordance with European consumer protection rules and the specific nature of roasted coffee as a perishable product.
Returns for Coffee Products
Because roasted coffee is a food item with limited shelf life, we only accept returns of coffee bags that are completely unopened, unused, and sealed in their original packaging.
If the product has been opened, used, or damaged after delivery, we cannot issue a refund.
Return Period
Customers have fourteen days from the date of delivery to request a return for eligible unopened coffee products. This period follows the European right of withdrawal for distance purchases of non perishable items.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges for roasted coffee. Customers wishing to change to another product may return eligible unopened items and place a new order.
Returns for Merchandise and Equipment
Non food items such as brewing equipment or merchandise may be returned within fourteen days if unused, in their original condition, and in original packaging. Once returned and inspected, a refund will be issued.
Incorrect or Damaged Orders
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective, please contact us within seven days of delivery at hello@olascoffee.shop and include photos of the issue. We will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.
Refund of Shipping Costs
If a return is accepted under the right of withdrawal, we refund the original product price but not the original shipping cost. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product was defective or the wrong item was sent.
International Orders
International returns follow the same rules. Customs fees or import duties paid by the customer are non refundable.
How to Request a Return
To request a return, email us at hello@olascoffee.shop with your order number and details. Once approved, we will provide return instructions. Returns sent without prior approval cannot be processed.
Refund Processing Time
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary depending on your payment provider.
